Diakon Bridge Southeast

We strive to nurture change and growth in youth, families and communities.

Goal

The Bridge Program is designed to provide a community-based alternative to higher levels of placement for adjudicated and dependent male and female youth. Working collaboratively with juvenile probation departments, children and youth services, schools, youth, parents, families and the community, the program focuses on providing support and assuring accountability. PACTT-supported workforce development sessions. Career assessments and employment soft skill activities are utilized.

Second Chance Community Redemption Incentive

Youth who have accumulated court costs, fines and restitution may earn financial incentives for program participation and completion, along with meeting a variety of criteria. As funds are earned, program staff will accompany the youth to the courthouse to pay costs, fines and restitution. Non-profit organizations in the surrounding community typically are sites for community service projects. The Second Chance opportunity is funded solely by community and employee donors.
