Meals On Wheels Driver I
Locations: Pottsville, PA
Job Type: Per Diem, Days, Monday, Wednesday, Friday

General Responsibilities:
- Responsible for performing various duties in order to deliver daily meals to meals on wheels recipients in accordance with federal, state and local regulations and Diakon’s quality standards.
- Delivers meals to assigned routes.
- Reports and refers to supervisor abnormal or unsafe conditions observed in the course of performing job duties.
Education/Training: A high school diploma or equivalent normally required.
Experience: A minimum of one (1) year experience in driving position normally required.
ADA: Ability to bend, stoop, sit, stand, reach and lift items weighing up to 50 lbs.; visual and auditory skills.
Compensation and Benefits:

General Responsibilities:
- Responsible for performing various duties in order to deliver daily meals to meals on wheels recipients in accordance with federal, state and local regulations and Diakon’s quality standards.
- Delivers meals to assigned routes.
- Oversees preparation and packaging of meals.
- Trains new staff and volunteers.
Education/Training: A high school diploma or equivalent normally required.
Experience: A minimum of one (1) year experience in driving position normally required.
