Lisa Kilpatrick is the Director of Business Development for Diakon Child, Family & Community Ministries.
Ms. Kilpatrick returned to Diakon in 2024, bringing her experience to help expand and develop Diakon's programs and services.
Ms. Kilpatrick has a bachelor’s degree in psychology from East Stroudsburg University. After college, she became a detention officer and Juvenile Probation Officer in Delaware County. After spending three years there, she came on board with Diakon as a Diakon Youth Services Bridge Worker in Delaware and Chester Counties. Ms. Kilpatrick was promoted to program manager in 2011 and started working on her master’s degree in Public Administration, which Diakon partially funded with their tuition assistance program.
Ms. Kilpatrick has also worked in other community-based programs, managing child welfare programs with the federal government, overseeing a contract with the Office of Head Start, and managing support coordination for Medicaid waivers in Maine, working with aging and IDD populations.
She shares, “I am excited to help Diakon expand and grow its services. Diakon has a lot to offer people through its programming and services, which can be replicated in many different communities.”
